Situation & Challenge
A group of doctors merged into a single practice to utilise synergy effects and offer treatment concepts tailored to their patients along the entire care pathway. The objective was to achieve double-digit growth within the first 3 years. Despite medical excellence, the group as such was not known to patients and referrers in the region. Next to managing the day-to-day business, there was hardly time to develop a brand and referrer strategy.
Solution
We supported the customer to develop a brand and referrer network strategy:
- Market and growth potential: We identified current and future patient and referral flows, taking into account the competitive situation, patient and referrer feedback, market segments and networks, as well as trends in regulations, demographics, and digitization.
- Brand core: Based on the market potential, we identified the main differentiators from the competition and created core messages for referrer segments and personas.
- Referrer strategy: Together with the customer, we developed a tailored referrer strategy. This included the selection of referrer networks, development of brand messages, communication planning and prioritization of actions (quick wins and tactical planning).
